Don Allen

Don purchased Jubilee Market in 1992 and, for the past three decades, has stayed true to the store’s original small-town, corner store roots. Despite a few bumps in the road and economy, Don has remained steadfastly focused on the continued growth of the store through dogged perseverance and a continued dedication to excellence – both from a product and service perspective – for his customers and community. When he’s not working (and that occasionally happens!), he and his wife love spending time with their family in Ontario, Calgary (new grandchild!) and at the family’s summer cottage in Muskoka.

André Neulander

André moved from Calgary to Ontario to join Jubilee Market as the store’s General Manager in 2017, bringing with him an extensive background in the restaurant, food and hospitality industry.  Since then, André  has been instrumental in building and fostering a strong employee team and is delighted to be an integral part of Jubilee’s continuing growth. Jubilee is equally appreciative that André chose to join the team and to contribute his experience, innovation and expertise to the store’s expansion and development. André  lives in Oakville, as do his daughter and her young family.

Kitchen

Michelle Hunt

Michelle is Jubilee’s Kitchen Manager and joined the team in 2020 by way of a customer’s referral (big thanks to Dave!). Michelle brings a wealth of experience in fine dining, catering & event planning and in the management of speciality food stores. Her leadership, acumen and positive attitude have been integral in the continued development of Jubilee’s kitchen. The bottom line is that Michelle loves feeding people and bringing happiness to others by doing so.

Cynthia Campbell

Cynthia joined Jubilee Market in 2020 as a Red Seal Chef with years of kitchen experience, having run her own successful catering business and bistro for 10 years before joining the Jubilee team. Cynthia prides herself on being a true professional who is passionate about the quality and integrity of her food. We invite you to try her crab cakes or perhaps her carrot muffins with cream cheese icing if you haven’t already. Your first won’t be your last!

Mike Spudowski

Mike is an award-winning Oakville Chef, who has proudly served the downtown community for 25 years.  Jubilee is delighted to have Mike on the team. Mike’s extensive arsenal reflects both tradition and innovation in many of the world’s cuisines, while his thirst for culinary history continues to propel his creative direction for the future. Mike enjoys supporting local and has never met a vacation he can’t make all about food!

John Cranmer-Byng

John joined Jubilee with plenty of kitchen experience in preparation, packaging and the key job of general kitchen utility. John’s attention to detail with safety and sanitation protocol is exemplary and the Jubilee kitchen would not be able to accomplish as much as they do without his support. As a key member of the team, John also injects his sharp and witty sense of humour into his work, bringing laughter to all in Jubilee’s busy work environment.

Front Of House

Aiman Bou Mehdi

With over ten years of customer service experience in retail sales, Aiman joined Jubilee in 2017 and has never looked back. As the Produce Manager at Jubilee, Aiman draws on a wealth of expertise and knowledge from having grown up on a farm in Lebanon where his family grew lemons, olives, plums, grapes and pine nuts. Aiman quickly became Don’s deputy buyer shortly after joining the team and meticulously covers all of the produce buying in Don’s absence - a feat in and of itself! Truly a perfect fit for the Jubilee family.

Erin Zinck

Erin is Jubilee’s Front of House Manager with an extensive customer service background, having worked in a variety of sectors - banking, legal and retail - before joining Jubilee.  Her strong attention to detail and her focus on customer service provides patrons of Jubilee with peace of mind, ensuring that every trip to Jubilee is a rewarding one.  Erin’s ability to engage and take care of clients is always top of mind and she prides herself on knowing each of Jubilee’s customers by name, making their visit especially personal and authentic.

Maritza Carrasco

As Jubilee’s longest standing employee, Maritza heads a very dedicated team in the cut fruit department.  With a daily focus on freshness and consistency, you will always get the highest quality of fruits and vegetables on Jubilee’s signature vegetable trays or rainbow fruit offerings.  You will also see Maritza working hard helping to unload the Jubilee truck after Don gets back from the market each day.  Fortunately, once the day is complete, she has a short commute and simply has to walk across to street to her home to enjoy time with her young family.

Alexander Halcovitch

Alexander Halcovitch is a local Oakville resident who enjoys the fresh produce and wide selection of top-quality merchandise at Jubilee Market.  Alexander is an avid Dungeon and Dragons player as well as a Star Wars fanatic.

Artem Agasyants

Artem is a new member of the Jubilee team who has quickly made a tremendous impact at the Deli counter with his creativity and skill at displaying each day’s assortment of freshly made wraps and sandwiches. He encourages you to come in and try one, or maybe even two!
